100th PC-21, and 1,000th
Turboprop Trainer.100th PC-21 rolled off the final assembly line at Pilatus.The 100th PC-21 rolled off the Pilatus Aircraft
final assembly line on February 20. Destined for
the Royal Saudi Air Force training fleet, this
PC-21 also happens to be the 1000th turboprop
trainer to be produced at Pilatus.Pilatus trainer aircraft are used by over 30 opera-
tors around the world to train the military pilots
of the future. Carefully tailored to provide an
optimum training solution, Pilatus products enjoy

segment.The latest Pilatus trainer, the PC-21, was
developed from ground up and deliversunparalleled performance, cockpit equipment,

New Rebate Programmes for
King Air G1000 Upgrades- New Customers Can Save Up To €60,000
Garmin has announced two new rebate
programmes for select King Air owners and
operators who choose to upgrade their avionics
to the G1000 Integrated Flight Deck.The popular G1000 retrofit suite for the King Air
series continues to receive exceptional
response and provides operators with enhanced
capabilities that minimize pilot workload,
increase situational awareness and provide
NextGen avionics capabilities at a fraction of the
cost associated with purchasing a new aircraft.For a limited time, new customers may be
eligible for one of two new rebate programs that
allow them to receive rebate savings of up to
$50,000 on a qualifying King Air G1000 upgrade.
King Air aircraft with a factory installed Pro Line
21 avionics system, may be eligible for a
$50,000 customer-direct rebate, while other
select King Air customers may be eligible for
a $25,000 customer-direct rebate. This rebate
program is effective beginning January 20th
through May 29th, 2015 and is valid for the
following aircraft pursuing a G1000 upgrade:- King Air C90
- King Air 200, B200
- King Air 300
- King Air 350
In addition to the G1000 upgrade, purchase of
the Platinum or Platinum Plus package must be
made to qualify for either of these rebates for

G650ER Sets New City-Pair

Gulfstream G650ER.In the era of the globe-girding, ultra-long-range
business jet it’s a record that was sure to fall at
some point. Gulfstream Aerospace took the
honors recently by setting two unique city-pair
speed records, making just one stop for fuel in
between.A Gulfstream G650ER took off from White Plains,
New York, with three passengers and four crew
members on board. It flew 6,939 nautical miles
to Beijing at an average speed of Mach 0.87 for
a total flight time of 13 hours, 20 minutes. The jet
then continued another 6,572 nm/12,171 km to
Savannah, Georgia, accomplishing the mission
at an average speed of Mach 0.89 for a total
flight time of 12 hours. The aircraft landed both
times with fuel in excess of NBAA IFR reserves.“There isn’t another business jet capable of this
mission,” said Scott Neal, senior vice president,
Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Gulfstream.
“This flight proves just how powerful a machine
the G650ER is. We promised customers an
aircraft that could take them farther faster than
any other. We delivered on that promise.”Pending approval by the U.S. National Aeronautic
Association, the city-pair records will be sent to
the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale in
Switzerland for recognition as world records,
Gulfstream said.In addition to the two pending records, the
extended-range G650ER set two speed records
during flight testing last year when the test
aircraft flew from Los Angeles to Melbourne,
Australia, in 14 hours, 58 minutes and then flew
from Hong Kong to Teterboro, New Jersey, in
14 hours, 7 minutes.The G650ER can travel 7,500 nm at Mach 0.85
and 6,400 nm at Mach 0.90. It has a maximum
speed of Mach 0.925.It’s true no other business jet can match the
G650ER’s feat. Bombardier is developing a
longer-range version of its original Global Express
dubbed the Global 8000 that promises a max
range of 7,900 nm. Which begs the question,
once you can fly halfway around the world
nonstop, would you ever need to fly any farther?
Current G650 owners and order-holders,
Gulfstream noted, can upgrade their original
