A legend

arrives at a milestone.

Space Shuttle Atlantis began her maiden voyage on October 3, 1985, and proceeded
to fly 33 missions, including operations providing critical service to the Hubble Space
Telescope. After 126 million miles of space travel, she has landed here. Join us as we
celebrate the 30th anniversary of this American icon. You’ll get an up-close view of the
actual space shuttle as she floats gracefully in midair. Plus, more than 60 exciting exhibits
and space-age simulators will immerse you in a true-to-life spaceflight experience.
Only at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Always Exploring.
