Apogee has been manufacturing and supplying cooled CCD cameras
to astronomers around the world since it was founded in 1993.
Apogee’s Alta camera series is designed to offer a broad range of
sensor options attractive to the Astronomy community. The new
Aspen and Ascent cameras further extends the Apogee portfolio
providing higher performance and better affordability.
In 2013 Apogee was acquired by Andor Technology, adding further
expertise in camera development, manufacturing and customer
support.
