eathrow has long been a haven

for fans of widebody aircraft.

The airport connects the UK

to all four corners of the globe

courtesy of services from a vast array of

different airlines. While the Boeing 747 was

once the dominant widebody at the airport,

today that mantle has been taken on by

the Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 and A330.

Despite this, Heathrow remains one of the

best airports for enthusiasts to see the

jumbo in action.

Emirates now operates six  ights a

day to the West London airport with the

introduction of  ight EK31 from Dubai. The

service is currently being  own using 777-

300ERs, but from June will be operated by

an A380 like the carrier’s  ve other daily

LHR  ights.

Also new on the schedule this summer

is Garuda Indonesia’s  ve-times-a-week

service from Jakarta and a second daily

rotation to Muscat for Oman Air.
