HARS Aviation Museum is one of the largest and most
unique collections of aircraft in the Southern Hemisphere.
The museum attracts over 15,000 visitors annually and
houses more than 40 aircraft of historical significance,
many of which are maintained in airworthy condition.

HARS Aviation Museum tells the story of civil and
military aviation history in Australia. With over 10,000
m² of indoor exhibition space, the facility allows you
to get up close to the aircraft and imagine what it
was like to fly such historic machines as the Tiger
Moth and Dakota of the 1930’s through to the fast
jets and airliners of the 2000’s.

Take a seat in our flagship, the classic Lockheed
Super Constellation or the record-breaking Qantas
Boeing 747-438, City of Canberra.

Our military history is well represented with a pair of
Vietnam veteran Caribous, the Lockheed Neptune,
Catalina flying boat, Dassault Mirage jet fighter
and the world’s last operational General Dynamics
F-111C supersonic jet bomber.

HARS Aviation Museum is open every day

from9:30 am to 3:30 pm except Christmas Day.

Tarmac Days are held on the second weekend of each

month, including Friday and selected aircraft from our

collection are displayed on the airport apron.
