the people to know now, says party expert Michael Hennegan

WHO Micheal Ward ( 1 ), Emma Corrin ( 2 ),

Omari Douglas ( 3 ), Ellie Bamber ( 4 ),

Taron Egerton ( 5 ), Lashana Lynch ( 6 ),

Jonathan Bailey ( 7 ), Bel Powley ( 8 ) and

Simone Ashley ( 9 ).

THE LOWDOWN The most talented of the

young thesps, this crew are all about their

craft and they worship at the altar of La

Dench and co. When not rehearsing they

can be found drinking a natural wine or a

spirit brewed via a sock in a bathtub in

Clapton. They surf in Cornwall, write poetry

in Dungeness and go riding in Suffolk.

WHERE The Vanity Fair party held before the

Baftas, the Met Gala, the members’ club 180

House on the Strand, the underground Soho

bar Below Stone Nest, Bussey Rooftop Bar in

Peckham or at a hot yoga class.

co-ordinators. Key players include the

musicians Self Esteem, Last Night in Paris

Jordan Vickors ( 2 ), Princess Julia ( 4 ) and

Mercedes Benson ( 5 ).

THE LOWDOWN The coolest crew of summer

2022, these guys follow a vibe, which then

becomes a trend for you and me. They’re

set on world domination and they work

hard and play hard. Luckily most are young

enough that they can rock up to the day job

after hardly any sleep with no telltale signs.

WHERE Shoreditch House, the Haggerston,

Ridley Road Market Bar and then back to the

NTS radio studio in Hackney to play “b2b”

(that’s two DJs taking it in turns to play).

LABELS They don’t subscribe to labels —

perhaps the skater brand Palace, if

anything. Theirs is a wardrobe of vintage

finds and an overall look: they won’t be

branded like cattle.

THE EURO JET SET

WHO The fabulously wealthy — think

Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece ( 1 )

and the hotel heiresses Irene ( 3 ) and Lydia

Forte ( 4 ) — plus the luxury brand consultant

Olivia Innocenti ( 2 ), the art dealer Jean-

David Malat, the jet set’s favourite singer

Eminzada ( 5 ) and their social media

satirist, Gstaad Guy.

THE LOWDOWN Summer starts in June for

the Euro jet set, who head to Mykonos,

Capri, Ibiza and Tulum. They have a

propensity to swank around in the softest

of cashmere and soft-shuffle driving shoes,

and start meme accounts poking fun at

their mates. They drink Don Julio 1942

tequila on the rocks and are often overheard

talking about Burning Man or the latest

destination festival, secret rave and

doing Glastonbury Cali-sober. Pet peeve?

Adjusting the PJ to accommodate their

pomeranians, Pixie and Poojah.

WHERE The Mayfair haunts LPM, Isabel,

Annabel’s, Hovarda and Bar des Prés,

Scalini in Chelsea, or a secret house

party in South Kensington.
