THE LIST

THE TOP FIVE PC SPEAKER SYSTEMS

RAZER
NOMMO
CHROMA
This stylish offering is
a 2.0 speaker system
with no subwoofer,
making it the best option for
those short on space. The
speakers are large, but
they exude quality, with a
rich, deep sound. There’s also
a headphone-out port and subtle RGB
lighting around the base. $150,

CREATIVE PEBBLE PLUS
If you primarily use headphones but want a speaker
option, the Creative is a fantastic choice. It’s a full 2.
system with a separate subwoofer to drive the bass.
The two pebble speakers are small, but sound crisp
and go relatively loud. They’re powered by USB, saving
plug sockets at your desk. $50, http://www.creative.com

LOGITECH G
These Logitech speakers look great and
sound fantastic, thanks to
serious volume levels and a
bulky subwoofer that
creates an immersive
soundstage. The RGB
lighting is based on
Logitech’s Lightsync
system and it also
works with your phone
over Bluetooth. $240,

While there are plenty of headphone warriors out there,
a good speaker system still has its place for gaming,
music, or even just watching YouTube. There are loads
of different options, from dual stereo speakers to
complete surround systems, which is why we’ve tried
to pick the best options across the various price points
and categories here. But fear not, for no matter which
option you choose, these systems all sound great.

LOGITECH Z
A 5.1 system isn’t for everyone, especially as these
rear speakers are wired, but if you love the cinematic
experience on your PC, this is the speaker system to
go for. It’s THX-certified and will decode Dolby Digital
and DTS, and provide a total of 1000W of power from its
five speakers and subwoofer. This is ideal for anyone
running a media center PC, as it comes with various
audio inputs for multiple devices, plus a remote control
to switch between them. $400, http://www.logitech.com

LG ULTRAGEAR GP
This wireless Bluetooth soundbar from LG is
pricey but its features justify the price. As a
PC speaker, it sits neatly underneath a monitor and
creates stereo or virtual surround sound. But it’s also
a battery-powered Bluetooth speaker that can pair
with a phone for five hours of party-starting music
or sit under your TV. There’s an app to control
EQ settings and RGB lighting, plus a built-in
microphone for voice chat. $500, http://www.lg.com
