Tamiya obviously thinks so as

they have announced that the

109G-6 is their next 1/48 scale kit.

Of course, being Tamiya this

new Bf109 is going to feature some

very clever engineering

including the clever use

of magnets enabling you

to easily change

between open engine

cowlings to show off

the nicely detailed

engine and upper

fuselage guns or with

just a few seconds

work replacing them

with closed up panels

to show the nice lines

of the 109. Look for

this new 109 on the

hobby shop shelves

in time for Xmas.

shows a Russian example with

a shark mouth that rather suits
