APC Decals

T

his new Czech
manufacturer has
released a range of decals
in 1/144, 1/72, and 1/48 scale. All
come with a simple instruction
sheet that clearly shows where
to place them on the model.
Any stencils will have to come
from the kit sheets, but the
decals supplied are thin, well
printed, and in perfect register.
Most of the range covers
aircraft that have a Czech
connection, such as the LB-77,
a Czech-produced He-111, or the
civilian Ju-52. But they also cover
other nations, and this month

we have a captured de Havilland
Mosquito from “Cirkus Rosarius”,
a unit that used captured
aircraft to familiarize German
pilots with enemy aircraft.

CONCLUSION
This is just a sample of this
company’s large range. The LB-77 is
also available in 1/48 scale, and the
Ju-52 can also be purchased in 1/144
and 1/48 scale. If you are interested
in these subjects, visit http://www.vinar.

And we thank APC Decals for
bringing this range to our attention.

T

he Mil-24 Hind is
probably the only
helicopter that I would
build more than one of, mainly
because I have been fortunate
enough to crawl all over a Czech
example. Well, Begemot must
have thought the same, because
their latest sheet supplies no less
than 55 examples from 16 different
countries in five versions.

CONCLUSION
A very impressive sheet, made even
better by the four double-sided A4
sheets of informative instructions.
The only way they could
be improved is if they included
colour profiles, rather than the
monochrome ones supplied. This
may have a massive impact on
the price though, so maybe not!
My thanks to Begemot for
supplying the review sample.

nother
new Czech
manufacturer
passed us this sheet
at E-Day, and I was
not going to say no,
as the F-5 is one of
my favorite aircraft.
Unusually, this sheet
concentrates on the
early F-5A/B from
operators all around
the world. Perfect for
those like me, with the Kinetic
F-5 family in the to-do pile.
