Michaël Sanczuk, we’re joined by First
Officer Tom De Ridder at the company’s
operations centre and run through the
pre-flight preparations. This includes a
look at AMOS (Aircraft Maintenance and
Engineering System), which provides
an overview of the fleet at a glance and
flags up any important technical issues
of which the crew should be aware.
There’s no such problems with our
steed for the day, the 1997-vintage RJ100
OO-DWB (c/n 3315), which has a clean
bill of health.
The crew then analyses the latest
meteorological data and Notices to
Airmen (NOTAMs) supplied by flight
dispatch’s Sabre system. The weather
