Comparing the colour scheme of the Casa by a photo made
on the 24th of June at Le Bourget, France, and a photo made
on 13 December 2016 at Sevilla, Spain, revealed that the 164
became the 1199. It was delivered on the 13th of December
2016 via Luqa International Airport, Malta, as EC-003.

At the moment Scramble 458 was printed the news came that
another two UH-1H-II Hueys were about to be delivered to
the air force of Kenya. So the contractor who informed us
in the beginning about the delivery of eight helicopters was
right and the delivery of the two AH-1F Cobras in May had
nothing to do with the entire deal. The final two, most likely
the 1506 and 1507, were handed over on 19 July. According
to the contractor the KAF received four Cobras in addition to
the upcoming two in a few weeks. IHS Jane’s Defence Weekly
report that the Cobras were, as expected already, donated by
Jordan.

This two seater MiG-23 was reported as written off on August
4, 2014. However this month pictures were found on the inter-
net of the 8133 with a new tail section. The tail section which
was used, was from a former Russian MiG-23 so with the red
star still on it. It seems that the Russians only delivered a tail
section and not an entire aircraft as reported before.

Thanks to photos of Peter Weinert we now have the correct
serials of these former Belgian Air Force Alouette 2s. In
the past, four helicopters were delivered so we can assume
that 5R-MOJ and 5R-MOK also do exists, but confirmation is
required of course.
