Services. But also, within that third pil-
lar of the group, namely maintenance
and technical operations, are Voyageur
Aerotech – an approved maintenance
organisation that provides a multi-
tude of maintenance, manufacturing
and engineering related services – and
Voyageur Avparts, which focuses on
regional aircraft supply chain services.
“When I was at Bombardier, we used
to use Voyageur all the time for our
transitions and all our maintenance
and heavy work,” Ridolfi recalled. “They
have a great capability, especially when
it comes to specialised work, by which I
mean missionising aeroplanes or con-

verting them into freighters. They can
turn around special type certificates
for whatever a client may need.
So that capability up in North
Bay, Ontario, is inside that
maintenance/technical pillar.”
The three pillars of Chorus
Aviation are each getting stronger.
On the flying side, contract work is set
to increase its ASMs as well as adding
more larger aircraft, while the charter
operation continues to gain footholds

in new markets. The leasing business
will see its fleet increase and, if the first
year is anything to go by, it will add
further renowned names to its portfo-
lio of customers. Finally, supporting
both, whilst also growing its third-
party work, the MRO/technical
business looks likely to be busier than
ever. While the company might have
begun life as Jazz, then later developed
a Chorus, the outcome seems to be a
great deal of harmony.
