n especially agitated date for AERO Magazine’s editorial
oice.ItwasaWednesday,andthreeeventsweretakingplace
at the same time, one in each country, which demanded an
unprecedented mobilization of our editorial team.
In São José dos Campos, in the interior of Sao Paulo, Embraer
announced the type certiicate of its E190-E2 regional jet. During
this time, on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in Paris, Dassault
launchedtheFalcon6Xprogram,detailingtoasmallgroupofvisitors
the new jet characteristics. Finally, in Las Vegas, the world’s largest
helicopter airshow was taking place, the Heli-Expo. We marked
presence in all of them, and here we show the best we have seen in
Brazil, in France and in the US.

magazine to show the changes in relation to the previous version. he
E190-E2 has just received triple homologation – ANAC, FAA and EASA


  • while Boeing and Embraer maintain secretive conversations about the
    combinations of their businesses, which are to be only made oicial in
    the early second semester of this year.
    Also in this edition, we publish the press coverage of FIDAE, Latin
    America’s main airshow of military aviation, which takes place in Chile,
    we give clues about how the new Boeing 797 will be and we talk about
    volcanoes’riskstoaviation.
