Launched


ANA HOLDINGS and Sojitz are
teaming up to provide private jet
services under the ANA Business Jet
banner. The new company will
offer flights connecting to ANA
commercial services mainly bound
for North America and Europe, while
customers can also charter direct
flights from Japan to overseas
destinations. It will also provide a
concierge service, to make ground
transportation, hotel and restaurant
arrangements.
ANA Business Jet will be split 51%-
49% between ANA Holdings and
Sojitz respectively.
The new venture will use the
HondaJet, light business jet. ANA
Holdings and Honda Aircraft
Company signed a memorandum of
understanding (MOU) for a strategic
partnership, under which Honda
Aircraft will support various aspects
of ANA’s new offering. This includes
working with global charter
operators to provide coverage for
ANA’s customers and establishing
a framework for ground support
functions at a variety of the airline’s
transit locations
Honda Aircraft President and CEO
Michimasa Fujino, remarked: “I am
delighted that ANA has chosen the
HondaJet to support their... feeder
and charter flight operations. I am
confident the HondaJet will meet and
exceed their customers’ expectations
with its unrivalled speed, efficiency,
luxurious features and comfort. I’m
looking forward to expanding the
business jet market through the use
of the HondaJet by ANA.”

OJets Takes Off
SINGAPORE-BASED OJETS has
been launched following the acqui-
sition of a Bombardier Global 6000
and Challenger 650 from Minsheng
Financial Leasing. The jets, registered
9H-OJT (c/n 9688) and 9H-OJJ
(c/n 6076) respectively, were both for-
merly with defunct operator Zetta Jet,
which was also based in Singapore.
“We are honoured to have closed [the
deal] with Minsheng Finance Leasing
Co of China as our finance partner
and look forward to building our

relationship as we expand OJets,” said
Michael Ta, CFO, OJets. “We have
implemented a growth objective to
quadruple the size of OJets’ current
fleet by the end of Q2. This growth is
underpinned by $350m in equity and
debt; and will establish OJets as a
global operator with one of the newest
fleets of long-range business aircraft
in service.”
The company offers on-demand
charter flights as well as a block hour
programme for frequent travellers.

OJets is promising 48-hour guaranteed
aircraft availability at a fixed hourly rate
including global coverage without ferry
fees. It says there will be no initiation
or monthly management fees.
Wang Fuhou, President, Business and
Commercial Aviation Leasing Division,
Minsheng Financial Leasing, remarked:
“We are delighted to collaborate with
OJets. Both parties are confident in
our partnership and in the business
aviation market. We look forward to
the success of this co-operation.”

GERMAN CARRIER Hahn Air is intro-
ducing a new weekly service from
Düsseldorf (DUS) to Palma (PMI) this
summer. The service, which departs
DUS at 7.15pm on a Friday and returns
at 4.45pm on Sunday, will be operat-

Zenith Welcomes Third Learjet 75


BIGGIN HILL-BASED Zenith Aviation
has taken delivery of the first of two
new Learjet 75s, G-ZNTJ (c/n 45-562).
The aircraft was delivered over the
Easter weekend. The second, G-ZENJ
(c/n 45-565), was due for delivery after
Airliner World went to press.
Zenith ordered the extra aircraft after
its original pair of Learjet 75s – G-ZNTH

and G-USHA – proved extremely
popular with its clients.
Stuart Mulholland, managing director
of Zenith Aviation commented: “We’re
delighted to welcome a third Learjet 75
into our fleet; 2018 is an exciting year
for us and the sky is the limit with these
new arrivals. Our existing Learjet 75s
have exceeded our wildest expecta-

tions in the level of activity generated
so we are hoping that the new aircraft

is synonymous with the Learjet brand
and the Lear’ 75 is the latest iteration
of this iconic design. We are certainly
interested in expanding our offering
and going from strength to strength.”

Hahn Air Heads to Palma
