a spacious rear lounge.
The Falcon 6X is the first business jet
to feature a galley skylight, helping
to brighten an area that is usually dim.
Natural light flows into the cabin via
28 extra-large windows, 14 on each
side. The manufacturer says this is the
highest percentage of window area in
its class.
Olivier Villa, Executive Senior Vice
President, Civil Aircraft, Dassault
Aviation, explained: “We have used
the additional length in the rear
compartment to provide a very large
rear compartment and it fits well with
the 14-window design.”
Cabin altitude on the 6X will be
3,900ft at FL410, and Dassault claims
the air quality on board will be ten
times better than in an office building
to help passengers arrive at their
destination refreshed. The French
manufacturer said it will also be
“whisper quiet” on board, similar to the
levels found on its flagship Falcon 8X.
Because of its width, passengers can
sit opposite each other on the sofas
and there is still space for someone to
pass them. Even the toilet door has
been given a makeover, benefiting
from a space saving folding design
enabling passengers to enter and
exit without opening the door out
into the cabin.
A connectivity system is included on
the 6X, providing in-flight
communications and high-speed
internet access. The jet is also

equipped with a new in-flight
entertainment system enabling
high-definition audio and video
content to be played throughout the
cabin. Passengers can control the on-
board functions using a mobile app or
the on-board interface.
Trappier noted: “It [the 6X] will be
equipped with the most passenger-
friendly interior on the market.”
The all-new cockpit features the
third generation of Dassault’s EASy

III all digital flight deck, powered by
Honeywell’s Primus Epic platform. It
also incorporates the manufacturer’s
FalconSphere II electronic flight bag
and its FalconEye Combined Vision
System, the first head-up display to
combine enhanced and synthetic
vision capabilities. This works by
