shorter runway 15/33 is located to the
southeast. Both can handle jets right up
to the size of an A380.
At the eastern end of runway 10/28,
a group of classic jetliners have found
their final resting place, however, none
of them are in a very good shape. They
include six 727s, of these two are
former VARIG aircraft plus one
operated by TAF Linhas Aéreas and
another by Platinum Air Cargo , there
is also a Master Top Airlines Cargo

the second being at Porto Alegre, in
southern Brazil. The company's
hangar is one of the biggest in South
America and can accommodate up to
four widebody jets at a time.
The MRO provider manages services
ranging from airframe, engine and
component maintenance through to
engineering and material support, it
also has a large aircraft painting facility
enabling it to cover most requirements.
