up, the answer is very well indeed!
Fit is great in the main but some of the
ribs needed taking down a bit as they did
ever so slightly interfere with the leading
edge join, but it’s not too bad at all. There
is some photo-etch to go in here (available
separately) however, I elected not to use it on
this model. It will hide the internal seam on
the leading edge but sat on the shelf no one
will know even though the detail will be fi ner
but again, that’s a choice for the individual
modeller.
As you’ll notice I glued the inner gear
doors shut (resulting in a bit of an oozy mess
in places with glue melting plastic in the
join so next time I’ll use
super glue). Further
research showed
that early ‘190s
had their doors
shut unless
undergoing
maintenance,
so they really
ought to be
closed as I
have done
here.

With the wings and
fuselage complete, it
was time to put it all together.

Mr. Hobby was used for the RLM 76, I prefer this paint to Mr Paint as it’s slightly
bluer, the Mr Paint has a very slight green tinge to it which not really noticeable on
its own but really stands out next to the Gunze Sangyo’s shade.

There’s no hiding with a
macro lens! Just look
at those gear doors!
Actually it’s not too
bad with the naked
eye, so I include
this photo to
show you how
awesome the

I like my paint thin
though...
