You don’t see a lot of 1:48 Canberras on show, so it’s always good to see one, especially in its
B-57 guise...

Following the release of the Airfi x kit the ungainly Whitley has become popular amongst modellers
looking for something a little more unusual.

It’s a Sea Harrier - what’s not to like! The Airfi x Shackleton is a demanding kit, but looks great once complete. This attractive Mil Hoplite was a tiny model in the competition...

Ever popular, there were a number of Stukas on display in
Darlington.

...In comparison with this beast, the huge Tamiya 1:32 F-4J
Phantom II.

Marseille’s Bf109, a wonderful model in the competition, that
featured an equally wonderful fi nish.

Another Tamiya kit, this He162 had been detailed and delicately
painted.

No matter what the scale, the Sukhoi Su-33 is a commanding
miniature. Just look at that camoufl age!

Built — I think — from the Special Hobby kit, this Heinkel
He100 was a favourite from the competition.

Polish anniversary markings helped to make this MiG-29UB
stand out on the competition table.
