Non-Scale Classic CL
Before I end I would also just like to
mention that between all of these scale
models I have also been building a
range of Weatherman speed models to
fl y at SAM 35 and the Power Nationals
events. Motors range from old ETA 29s,
new Rossi 21s, Cox and others not to
mention... This is a fun event and the
models are very easy to fl y, requiring
not much more than about three days

to build. (The Clubman Class Profi le
Weatherman was the free plan in April
2015 AeroModeller, a great place to start
Vintage Speed - Editor.)
Speeds for the Weatherman classes
are measured from a standing start up
to a maximum of 10 laps depending on
what class is fl own, these range from 1cc
up to 10cc engine size. I look forward to
the fi rst outing of these at the MayFly Old
Warden 2018.

If any readers have any photos or
information on CL scale they would like
me to add in future articles, please feel
free to contact me on my email address
or in person at competitions. I look
forward to readers inputs.
