The baseball cap is a part of the traditional baseball uniform worn by players, with the

brim pointing forward to shield the eyes from the sun. Ball caps were quickly adopted

as fashion items and primarily by the US armed forces. The advantages of wearing a ball

cap on the Skirmish field are protecting your head and shielding your eyes from the sun.

Popular on the scene are 'Notch Headwear' who are a veteran owned but not

specifically military company. Setting their caps apart from others isn’t some added

extra, it’s actually a couple of pieces missing. Notches to be precise. Two cut-outs in the

peak of the cap are intended to ensure a better fit between the hat and your eyewear.

The trousers are manufactured and assembled from a total of 18 different pieces, which

is again a unique construction method that is normally seen in top quality real

world gear. Produced in durable Rip-Stop Polycotton Rip Stop material, this is a

perfect solution for a harsh skirmish field environment as this man made fabric

is created by using a special reinforcing technique that makes the material

resistant to tearing and ripping. Essentially the weaving process introduces

a thick reinforcement thread which is interwoven at regular intervals

throughout the material.

These trousers feature multiple adjuster points to achieve the desired

fit and users own comfort levels. The waist offers adjustable and

elasticised features, with a hook and loop zipped fly. There are more than

enough pockets on this garment, which echo its real world counterpart.

The knees and rear of the waist band feature flexible areas, not only to

help with fit and comfort but are also an important part of ventilation.

on a cleverly designed MOLLE platform.

This system consists of an inner belt and an outer MOLLE

belt. The inner belt passes through your pants loops like

any normal highstreet belt would and the outer belt simply

press-attaches to the Velcro inner belt's outer surface. The

outer belt can be detached at any time and attached to

the same position without changing the configuration of

your gear. This belt system keeps your equipment in the

same position every time and is an ideal high speed > low

drag item as long as you don't make the common mistake of

overloading it with unnecessary pouches and excess weight,

otherwise you could be caught with your pants down, literally!
