M3 SUPER 90 SHOTGUN

THIS MONTH I THOUGHT I’D TAKE A REST FROM ELECTRIC POWERED RIFLES AND HAVE A

LOOK AT SOMETHING A BIT SPECIAL FROM THE SPRING POWERED WORLD. I’LL ADMIT THAT

IT’S NOT GOING TO BE EVERY PL AYER’S FIRST CHOICE, BUT WHAT THE HECK SHOT GUNS

HAVE A SPECIAL PL ACE IN MY ARMORY AND I WOULD RECOMMEND BE IN YOURS TOO.

The real world version of this shotgun is designed

and manufactured by Benelli Ami Spa in Italy. The

M3 holds a decent 7 rounds of ammunition of various

types from standard shot to bean bag rounds. The M3

has the benefit of using a system that was first used

in the M1 shotgun, the semi-automatic firing feature.

This means that the faster you pump the action the

quicker you can fire. The only thing with the semi

feature is that if rubber bullets are used not enough

force is generated to operate the semi feature.The M3

comes with a surprising amount of variants from this

the super 90 but isn’t the longest in the set as there is

also a shorter more transportable version used by law

enforcement officers available in the real world.Again

separating the M3 from other self loading shotguns

the M3 doesn’t have the recoil spring in the stock but

locates it around the magazine tube and a dummy

tube for stock attachment. The range of versatility of

this shotgun opened up the market for fast powerful

armourment and is used by no less than 12 countries

and is incorporated by law and military units including

anti-terrorism and special forces so you can see and

understand just how useful it is to have a shot gun on

your team in the real world.
