TIME FOR A REFRESH
After around 16 years of flying,
the airframe was beginning to
look somewhat tired in 2017 and

engineering team prepared the
Avro for its new colours as part of
its annual servicing. This involved

Gloucester on January 30, 2018
where the control surfaces
and panels were removed so

that RGV could prepare the airframe
for its new coat of paint. The work
was finished in late spring.
Anson pilot Peter Kosogorin,
who is also a BAE Systems’ F-35
experimental test pilot, told FlyPast
