in^ Europe^ giving^ a spirited^ and^ well^ flown

routine.^

of^ theSomeflying^ highlights^ included:

AeroSuperBatics^ Flying^ Circus^ (formerly

theWingwalkers),^ Breitling^ with^ a^

new^ scheme^ and^ two^ new^

for^ thewingwalkers^2018 season,^ Martyn

Carrington^ &^ David Barrell^ gave^ their

usual^ display^ routine^ with^

panache^ and^ aflare,nod^ to^ the^ heyday

of^ classic^ barnstorming of^ the^ roaring

twenties.^

The^ seven^ shipNorth^ American^ T

6   Harvard^ routine^ was‐a^ very^ well^ executed

displaywith^ and^ the^ sight^

thesound^ of^ and^ radial^ engines^ giving

thatas^ effective^ rasp^ the^ props^ went

supersonic^ reverberating^

around^ airfield.^ the The^ Global^ Stars^ Team,^ a^ mix^ of^ CAP232

&^ Extra^ aerobatic^ aircraft^ presented

awell^ very^ thought^ out,^

winning^ routineawardwith^ some^ manoeuvres

that^ are^ unique^ to this^4 ‐Ship^ display.

This^ was^ definitely^

of^ the^ highlightsoneand^ one^ that^ kept

the^ display^ tight^ to the^ crowd^ line^ with

effectiveof^ use^ the^ smoke^

systems.^  46  Aviations^ Farner^ Werke^ (F+W)^

wasC‐^3605 Schlepp^ displayed^ by^

Emiliano^ Del^ Buono^ a^ highly^

impressive^ and^ captivating^ display^ in^

this^ highly^ manoeuvrable^ aircraft.^ This

aircraft^ is^ based in^ the^ Swiss^

of^ Sion^ alongtownwith^ a^ collection^ of

Warbirds,^ Aerobatic^ and^ Wingwalking

types.^

The^ Bremont^ Great^ War^ Display

Team^ displayed^ with^ pyrotechnics^

and^ seven^ dog‐fighting^ aircraft,^

thememories^ of^ evoking^ Great^ War.^ In

this,Anniversary^ the^ 100th^ year^ of^ the

end^ of^ the First^ World^ War^

atlast^ post^ sounded^ the^ the^ end^ of^ the

display^ completing^ a very^ emotive^ part

of^ the^ flying^ display.^

Many^ warbirds^ gracedthe^ skies^ of

Duxford^ throughout^ the^ afternoon^ including

theFestival^ Air^ weekend).^ The^

Rafale^ C^ wasDassaultthe^ only^ jet^ display

on^ the^ Saturday^ and gave^ a^ loud,^ lively

and^ thundering^ display^ with^

full^ afterburners.Supermarine^ Spitfire^ Mk^ 1a^ N3200^ flown

byflew^ John^ Romain^ an^ evocative^ and

memorable^ solo^ display^ as^

silentairfield^ fell^ the^ the^ distinctive^ elliptical

wingsound^ Spitfire^ and^ of^ the^ Merlin

engine^ fittingly^ closed^ the^

Resplendent^ inshow.its^19 Squadron

markings^ this^ airframe had^ joined^ RAF

Duxford^1940 in^ April^ and^ is^ now^

and^ owned^ bybasedthe^ IWM^ at^ Duxford

anda^ was^ truly^ historic^ aircraft^ from^

World^ War^ II.^
