Flying in style
At last month’s 2018 Monaco
Yacht Show, Airbus Corporate
Helicopters (ACH), Airbus’ private
and business helicopter divi-
sion, showcased its new ACH
Helionix. As the latest iteration
of the Helionix twin-engine heli-
copter line, the updated aircraft
boasts streamlined fl ight manage-
ment controls, improved safety, as
well as enhanced situation aware-
ness for the pilot. New features on
the aircraft include an auto-hover
capability that is ideally suited
for low-visibility and high traffi c
scenarios, as well as a ‘go-around’
feature that locks the helicopter
into a set holding pattern. The
ACH135 also comes standard with
automated engine management,
which improves overall fl ight
safety and compensates if one of
the two engines fail.

transporting passengers and
