program is run. That’s because we’re
governed by a steering committee
made up of all participating nations
and representatives of their respective
ministry of defense. That allows
that body to provide direction as to
what their nation’s needs are for the
end product.’
All the leadership positions
within ENJJPT — besides the wing
commander — can be lled by any of the
participating nations. Each assigns both
students and instructors, with costs being
shared across the board depending upon
how many students are in attendance.
Lt Col Lars ‘Slug’ Roeine is the Norwegian
senior national representative (SNR) as
well as being an instructor pilot (IP) at
Sheppard. He explains, ‘The program
works on a cost-share basis, whereby you
put in students [and depending on that
number of students] you need to put in a
required number of instructors.
