perating theatres (OT) are
expensive to build and equip
and among the most important
areas of the hospital. Despite
contributing to both the workload and the
revenue, they are under designed and not
efficiently used.
The benefits of efficient OT management
leads to better utilisation of resources,
improved satisfaction of patient and doc-
tor, quick TAT, improvement in the doctor’s
remuneration and brings more procedural
count to the OT based on which the perfor-
