the District of Columbia in the United States, has been detected in British Columbia and Ontario,
Canada, and has established populations in Ontario. Outside North America, it has been found in
shipments from the United States and Asia to New Zealand and Australia, has been detected or
become established in several European countries and in Santiago, Chile, and has become an agri-
cultural pest in northern Italy.
