until the cement had set irm.
The internal bracing struts,
Parts 18F and 20, must be put in
place before the windshield and
rear canopy are itted. This caused
a bit of frustration as they were
fractionally too short and needed
some tweaking to get a precise it.
I also encountred it issues with
the windshield and rear canopy.
Once the lash was cleaned up,
they would still not sit properly,
leaving some noticeable gaps which
required illing with PVA glue to

avoid damaging the clear surfaces.
Next came the engine and
irewall assembly, which itted
in nicely with no adjustments
required. Given that, I could move
straight on to the rudder and
elevators. These need their control
horns added and here the part
numbers do not match the ones
on the plans. Part 9D is actually
28F, and 26F should be 27F.
The model comes with four
twin rocket launchers that are
attached under the wings.

Here again, the sway braces
need some very careful cleaning
up as they sufered from both
lash and poor mould alignment.
Reference photos show iring
wires coming out of the rear
of the launchers and curling
round to go up into the wings,
so I added these to my model

from some ine fuse wire.
Once completed the rocket
pods can be set aside while
the wings are assembled.
The top surface of the wing is
supplied as a one-piece part that
incorporates the cockpit roof.
The centre section has six clear
parts that need itting at this
