on the internet I conirmed the
right colour was Air Defence
Grey and I used Xtracolor X
enamel to get the correct shade.
Apart from the grey there is
a matt black anti-glare panel,
which was masked of and applied.
Finally the aerials were painted,
while still on the sprues, before
attaching them to the model.
The Roden decals went on
perfectly over the Xtracolour gloss
inish and they settled down nicely
over the moulded surface detail. I
applied an overall coat of Xtracolor
matt varnish to seal in the decals
and blend everything together
