pecial Hobby are following
up their new 1/32 scale V1
with the Fi 103A-1/Re-4
Reichenberg manned version of
the V1, which will make, in my
mind, a more interesting model,
as I rather like the unusual.
Over the coming months,
Special Hobby has some treats for
fans of 1/72 scale models, to start
we have the release of the P-40K,
long fuselage, Kittyhawk Mk.III.
For fans of Luft 46 there will be the
Blohm Voss BV155B high altitude ighter,
with markings for an ‘in service’ example.If you like inter-war/early Second World
War biplane torpedo bombers, then the
Vickers Type 267 Vilderbeast
Mk.III could be just what
you are looking for. This kit
was irst released under the
Azur-Frrom label is now being
released in a Special Hobby box
with updated colour proiles,
which relects the latest
research on Vilderbeast’s
operating in Singapore.
As ever the CMK line of
resin accessories is worth a
look as releases often tie in

MARK 1 MODELS
I
t is always a pleasure to catch up with Mark 1 and
see what tiny delights they have for us. They
launched at Telford another in their line of airships
in 1/720 scale, the latest being the British R33/R34.
In 1/144 scale their DH Vampire F.3 was released in a
new boxing featuring some interesting foreign use
schemes, including a Mexican example with sharks’
teeth! They also released a 1/144 Spitire Mk.XIV low
back and Telford and my particular favourite a 1/144 scale
DH Mosquito, which includes markings for the BOAC
operated PR Mk.IV. All of the newly released kits are
available in diferent boxings, we will bring more news of
these next month! We
can also reveal we have
seen an early test shot
of their next project,
a 1/144 scale Dassault
Mirage III which will be
available in a number
