M

any have been eagerly
awaiting the release
of the new Airix
Blenheim Mk.1 which should be
released by the time you read this.
This sheet supplies some
interesting alternatives to the
kit’s markings including a very
attractive Desert scheme, a
classic pre-war ighter with
its black and white undersides
and even an example operated
by the Royal Navy.

CONCLUSION
Having seen a Blenheim in flight at
Duxford last year I was surprised
as to how agile this aircraft was
and I already have an example
on pre-order and I am sure it will
be finished in the 601 Squadron
example from RAF Hendon as
I can just remember when this
station was still in use by the ATC
and their gliders were a regular
sight over my house as a child.
Our thanks to Euro Decals
which is available to order now
from http://www.frantasyprintshop.

supplying the review sample.

Printscale

L

uftwafe subjects are
always popular but this
month Printscale have
avoided the normal Bf109,
Fw190 and Ju-88s. Instead we
have sheets for the Heinkel He-
60 loatplane and the Dornier
Do-217K/M. Both subjects, that
I do not recall being covered
by any other manufacturer. As
usual, the decals are supported
by full colour instructions with
small period black and white
photograph of the real thing.

  6. Heinkel He.60C, 60+E95, 5./Bo.Fl.
    GR.196, Wilehnshaven, Germany 1939

CONCLUSION
Printscale have an interesting
range as they are not afraid to visit
subjects that no one else covers
as well as more mainstream
subjects so are well worth
searching for though Hannants
carry a limited selection from
the range at the time of writing.
