Begemot

H

ere we go again. Begemot
have released a sheet
with no less than 28
marking options for the Su-34
Fullback, which apparently is
also called a Hellduck. I can
really see where that name came
from with its large duck beak
and impressive weapon load.
The four decal sheets supply all
the various camouflage schemes
seen on the type over the last 20
years, including examples seen
in action over Syria. Painting and
location of the decals and individual
aircraft details are covered on the
comprehensive instructions, as
well as a whole page devoted to the
placement of the 200+ stencils.

CONCLUSION
This sheet features a couple of
firsts from Begemot. It is the first
of their sets that I have seen that
comes with full colour instructions.
And it is also the first sheet that
supplies different decals depending
on which kit you are going to apply
them to. In the case of the Su-34
you can choose the nice Hobby
Boss version, though for accuracy
the newer Kittyhawk kit wins.
In the UK, the range is available
from Hannants. I thank Begemot for
supplying us with the review sample.

choose from, many with the
colourful squadron markings
so prevalent in the 1950s.
