Begemot

A

fter a number of generic
sheets Begemot have
returned to form with
another one of their mammoth
sheets. This time Dora Wings
1/48 scale King cobra family is
the obvious recipient. With no
less than 51 different options to
choose from, and someone has
been doing some serious research
to come up with some of these
schemes like the Honduran P-63C
or the very colourful trainers
including one in overall orange
with white stripes and if that was
not colourful enough, we also
have two heavily modified racers.
In fact a number of the options
will require varying amounts of
modification unless Begemot
know something we do not?

CONCLUSION
If you wanted to build 52 versions
of one aircraft but have a diverse
range of shapes combined with some
very colourful schemes, Begemot
have this covered with this new
sheet. Personally I have narrowed
my choice of which one to build
to just 10 options! In the UK, the
Begemot range is available from
Hannants and I thank Begemot for
supplying us with the review sample.

Model Maker Decals

P

olish manufacturer
Model Maker are now
returning to the aircraft
of the Polish Pilots who flew
with the Royal Air Force during
the Second World War with
a new sheet devoted to the
DH Mosquito. These decals
are produced in 1/72 and 1/48
but in 1/32 scale the decals
only supplies stencils and the
smaller coloured items like the
Polish Checkerboard, squadron
badge, Mission markings and
selected stencils. The individual
aircraft markings and RAF
roundels are all supplied as
pre cut frisk film masks.

CONCLUSION
An interesting selection of
markings and the Polish
checkerboard and squadron badge
certainly add some colour to the
model. Our thanks to Model
Maker Decals for supplying these
decals for review. You can see the
full range at http://www.ModelMaker.
com.pl, and most of the Model
Maker range is now being stocked
by Hannants in the UK.
