Waypoint 2: Kirkbride

On the B5307 west of Carlisle. Airfi eld

is south of the town, on a minor road.

The former technical site is now

given over to industry and a hotel,

while the runways are used by light

aviation. Access to the latter by prior

permission only.

Waypoint 4: Great Orton

On minor roads west of Carlisle,

between Great Orton and Wiggonby.

Waypoint 6: Longtown

The township is on the A7 north of

Carlisle; the airfi eld is north of the

A6071 to the southeast. This site has

reverted to agriculture; no access.
