On the 17th May 1943, a squadron of

WWII’s most successful night bombers

prepared to embark on Operation

Chastise. The courageous crews

and iconic Avro Lancaster Bombers

of 617 Squadron were led by Wing

Commander Guy Gibson as they soared

into military history as The Dambusters.

Honour these brave men and their mighty

planes on the landmark 75th anniversary of
