THE NACHTJAGD COMBAT ARCHIVE SERIES

Red Kite are proud to announce the launch of THE EARLY YEARS PART ONE
(1939 - 12 JULY 1941) in the continuing book series that will prove essential for
not only Luftwafe historians but also anyone with an interest in RAF Bomber
Command. The Nachtjagd Combat Archive is possibly the largest WWII aviation
project ever published, running to over 1.3 million words with over 1200 original
photos, a remarkable 70% of which are previously unpublished.

In simple terms, the NCA is a comprehensive record of over 6000 Luftwafe
Night Fighter Claims and over 2100 Flak claims which have been painstakingly
matched to RAF Bomber Command losses resulting in over 95% of them now
being identiied. This means that for the irst time ever, the fate of the vast majority
of RAF Bomber Command losses can be clearly understood with exact locations,
times and identities of the pilots or Flak units responsible for bringing them down.

This wealth of information has been further brought to life with over 1200 original
photos, full summaries of each night’s operations and compelling irst-hand
accounts of the Luftwafe night ighter pilots who were often the only witnesses to
the last moment of thousands of RAF airmen. The books are further enhanced with
maps that detail the crash sites and routing of RAF bombers for selected raids.

The Early Years Part One contains: Over 100 rare original wartime photos,
2 combat maps. 128 pages. A4 softback, printed full colour throughout. RRP £

The Modeller’s Photographic Archive series is essentially an A
landscape photo book format using the very best original wartime
images from various private collections. The landscape format
allows the publishers to reproduce images as much as 60cm across
(24”) when on a double page spread, a huge increase compared to
standard A4 portrait publications.
This latest book is the irst of two parts covering Me110 units in the
Battle of Britain. This irst volume covers ZG1, NG1, Reconnaissance
Units, EprGr210 and ZG2. The author is leading Me110 expert John
Vasco who has drawn the best images from his extensive photo
archive to ill the books with large high-res images of this famous
heavy ighter. There are over 20 full colour proiles in each volume,
produced by Fernando Estanislau, which are undoubtedly the most
accurate Me110 proiles ever published.

112 Pages, A4 softback, 150 wartime photos, 23 proiles, RRP £20.
