it’s amazing how well it stands up,”

and has a momentum that carries

whatsoever. I watched it with my
seven-year-old daughter- her opinion is a very
good benchmark
when it comes to
assessing how
well something
old stacks up
in modern
times, and she just loved it. She’s
really into history but I was struck
by the fact that this film could still
have resonance with someone so
young. It underlined the fact that it
has this power to connect you in an
almost palpable way to history.”
