OPTIONAL SEATS
I walk through the passenger cabin.
It shows comfort and satisfaction,
being able to carry 8 12 passengers,
customized according to customer’s
preferences in a club seat fashion or
a mix, using divans. The aircraft also
has two more optional and homo-
logated seats: that of the toilet and
another one well behind the cockpit,
at the left hand side of the fuselage,
called side facing seat, a cabinet
that can be reverted into a seat, for
a third crewman, a stewardess, or
even a passenger, and it is not a very
comfortable way of traveling, mainly
in long flights, but possible. The
external noise at the cabin is low.

The external noise in the cabin
is low. With 1,83 meter high and
2,08 meters width, the aircraft
interior has flat floor and com-
fortable seats that, in addition to
become beds, can be optionally
equipped with massage equip-
ment. The granite floor stands out
in the “wet areas”, such as galley
and toilets. Moreover, a posi-
tive point for the toilet, which is
vacuum-operated, thus eliminat-
ing odors, a key advantage mainly
in long flights. On the other hand,
at the galley, in addition to a basin,
there are also two types of ovens,
microwave and electrical, making
board service easier.

PRESSURIZATION
AND HOLDS
Pressurization has also to be hi-
ghlighted. At 45,000 feet maximum
operating roof, cabin internal alti-
tude remains at 5,800 feet, resulting
in less fatigue for both crew and
passengers after a long flight.
Also about passenger cabin,
digitals panels (tech panel) also
belong to Embraer’s DNA. They are
located above each seat and they
are able to control light and enter-

tainment systems by screen touch.
The same is valid for the ”mask”
involving the passenger cabin win-
dows, an innovation that makes ac-
cess easier and reduces cost, in the
case of a corrective maintenance of
window blinds. Through a built in
access on the cabin side, it is possi-
ble to find type USB, HDMI, VGA
and RCA inlets. But there was not
a Type C USB inlet, which in spite
of being smaller, provides higher
transfer speed.
With capacity to carry up to 550
kilos load, Praetor holds are split
in two. The internal one is similar
to the trunk of a large SUV, with
capacity for 150 kilos and dimen-
sions of 35 cubic feet, and can be
accessed at any flight stage; it is lo-
cated at the rear part of the aircraft,
after the toilet door. The external
hold is larger and can carry up to
400 kilos load; it is not pressurized
and heating is optional; it has a
dimension of 110 cubic feet.

FLY-BY-WIRE
The aircraft fly-by-wire technology
has fully digital control system; it
is at its third generation and was
developed by Embraer’s engineers.
