KODIAK
The also French firm Daher has an-
nounced the planned acquisition of
Quest Aircraft, manufacturer of the
high wing single-turboprop Kodiak,
thus extending its product range,
now focused on the TBM family.
Daher expects to step up its presence
in the general aviation, where it has
the market’s faster single-turboprop,
the series TBM 910 and TBM 940.
With over 270 aircrafts in service,
the Kodiak 100 is a turboprop for ten
passengers and capability to operate
in short and non-prepared runways.
The sale of Quest to Daher occurs
only four years after the company
having been negotiated with the
Japanese firm Setouchi Holdings.
The company, headquartered in
Hiroshima, Japan, was an authorized
distributor of the Kodiak in the Asian
country. Quest Aircraft is headquar-
tered in Sandpoint, Idaho, in the
United States, where Daher intends
to maintain the production of the
aircraft and expand its offer base in
North America.

developed by Dassault in partners-
hip with Airbus.
