Tapete Bateiti,a fisherman
from the village of Tabonibara,
has spent his whole life either
on or in the water. He mostly
fishes in the lagoons near the
coast of Kiribati, using a net to
catch small fish. The South
Seas are still teeming with
marine life, but scientists
believe that rising sea
temperatures could cause
more and more species to
move to colder regions or
even become extinct.
