READER’S DIGEST
OUR AUGUST ISSUEis a bit different fro
last month’s. You’ll notice some changes –
the magazine has undergone a revamp, w
new look that pays homage to the pages o
while embracing a modern, simplified de g
Inspiration for the updated version of the magazine came from the
core design of our 1950s issues. It was a time when the words dominated
the page, and design made its impact through strong borders that
surrounded the section heads (shown above, right), creating a smart
and approachable statement on each opening page. Added to this is
a totally new family of fonts, also designed to further enhance your
reading experience and enjoyment.
What remains the same is the richness of stories about
awesome people we’ve selected for you this month.
There are great reads about interesting people
with positive vibes, as well as helpful insights
and advice on health, the environment, and
fresh ways to consider life’s challenges. All
this, plus the good laughs, as well as new
perspectives, and much more, that you’ve
come to expect in Reader’s Digest.
We hope you enjoy the new design and
the updates we’ve made to the magazine –
and please tell us what you think.
