banding together and
begging the troubled
actor to get help.
The move follows his
dishevelled appearance in
public for the first time in two
years.The 49-year-old star
lookedexhausted when hestepped out in New York
recently in a stained T-shirt and
sporting long, dirty fingernails.
“None of them can bear to see
him like this – it’s heartbreaking,”
the insider says of his Friends
co-stars Jen Aniston, Courteney
Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc
and David Schwimmer.
“He hasn’t picked up the
phonetoany of them for
months,so collectively they
wrotehim a letter offering
theirsupport and urging
him to get professional
help before it’s too late.
“They’re desperately
sad to see him in
such a bad way and
his state of mind is
a big reason why
the Friends reunion
hasn’t gotten off the
ground yet,” adds the
