STOW MARIES GREAT WAR
AERODROME
Stow Maries is Europe’s most intact surviving
World War One aerodrome. Superb progress
has been made in restoring the buildings and
re-creating the atmosphere of a Great War Royal
Flying Corps base. With permanent hangarage
being provided, more and more airworthy aircraft
are taking up residence at this active (PPR-only)
airfield.
