SEETHING CONTROL TOWER
MUSEUM
Seething is today a very active general aviation
airfield, but recalls its USAAF bomber base past
in this small museum, which contains the 448th
Bomb Group Collection.

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE


HARRINGTON AVIATION MUSEUM
Formed to commemorate the USAAF’s 801st and
492nd Bomb Groups, the ‘Carpetbaggers’, based
at Harrington during World War Two, this museum
also includes the collection of the Northants
Aviation Society. Please note, however, that the
museum’s opening this year is unsure; it has been
closed for a couple of years since the death of its
founder.
