PEMBROKE DOCK HERITAGE
CENTRE
The natural focus here is on the story of flying
boats, at what was in wartime the world’s largest
flying boat station. On display are many parts of
Sunderland I T9044, which sank locally in 1940,
among other items.

restoration to airworthiness of Spitfire LFVIIIc
JG668, owned by the Pembrokeshire Spitfire
Aeroplane Company.

ROYAL AIR FORCE MUSEUM
COSFORD
Cosford houses, amongst other elements, the
National Cold War Exhibition and the RAFM’s
Research and Development Collections – two
reasons to visit even without the wide array of
other machines displayed. Several aircraft have
arrived recently as a result of the reshuffle at
Hendon, making for an even more comprehensive
exhibition as the RAF celebrates its centenary.
