No sooner had Lily tackled her first wedding
show and BAM! She was fully booked up for
a year in advance. Speaking to Roger, it soon
becomes clear that he’s an effervescent and
enthusiastic character. He isn’t one to rest on

Bus, this time a ’67 13-window, which was found
in Arkansas and shipped home. Lois, as this one
was named, soon found her way to Brookside
VW and was treated to a full strip down and
respray in white over cream, followed by a
short holiday at Madmatz for the interior to be
handled.

No sooner was Lois finished, than she was also
fully booked. The surprising thing about this is
the fact that Somerset Wedding Campervans
only cover weddings in a 30-mile radius of
their Somerton base. The meteoric success
of the company in such a short space of time
has led Roger and Jo to register the domain
names for Devon, Cornwall and Dorset Wedding
Campervans; they planned to expand into or
franchise into these surrounding counties,
but Roger hinted that, as they’ve come out of
retirement to run the business and it already
takes up enough of their time, they may think
about finding someone younger or more
