Flour power
Now there’s a flour for everyone’s needs.
McKenzie’s Tigernut Flour is made from
a small root vegetable of the same name, and
has a mild nutty flavour. It’s a great nut-free
replacement for almond meal due to its
granular texture, and is gluten free, paleo
and packed full of fibre. Find it in the baking
aisle at Woolworths supermarkets.

Bite-sized bliss
No more squabbling over whose piece is bigger,
you can make your cakes sweet and petite with
the new Pyrex Platinum Premium Bakeware
collection. Our favourites include the 12 Cup Mini
Bundt Pan (pictured), 8 Cup Petite Loaf Pan and
12 Cup Cupcake and Tart Pan. Available at David
Jones, Kitchen Warehouse, Victoria’s Basement,
Peter’s of Kensington and Harris Scarfe.

BUTTER UP!
When we think butter, we think Pepe
Saya. Batch churned in their Sydney
creamery, their cultured butter is
the ultimate to keep on-hand in
your fridge. Available in salted and
unsalted, go to pepesaya.net.au
for more information.

SAUCE SECRETS
Pearl River Bridge Superior Dark Soy Sauce’s
reddish-brown colour and soybean aroma
