over glass walls to prevent views of screens inside the

decorative surfaces, has introduced a translucent,
self-adhesive film layer patterned with organic addi-
tives. Made with skeletal leaves of the rubber tree,
the Skelettblattla iteration (pictured) is included in the
brand’s stock program, but the easy-to-cut film can be

3 Urban Curtain
London-based ecoLogicStudio has prototyped
Photo.Synth.Etica, a facade curtain that removes
a kilogram of CO 2 from the atmosphere per day –
performance equal to that of about 20 large trees.
The two-by-seven-metre panels are filled with
pollutant-absorbing algae, which is activated by
