(August) about crazy laws was very
humorous. However, the very last
craziness mentioned is out of date.
he West Australian parliament
passed an act repealing the Potato
Marketing Corporationefective from
December 31, 2016. DAVID SWAIN,

Act, which was repealed in 2016, made
it an ofence to be in possession of
more than 50kg of potatoes in Western
Australia, unless purchased from an
authorised grower or retailer.

I am sorry that he is still sufering
theefectsofthelightningstrike,
but the fact that he survived is truly
miraculous.hewayhisstorywas
relayed–“hisbodywassmoking”–
ischilling,andtheimageofhisboot
showing how the lightning made
itswaythroughhisbody,burninga
holethroughthesoletoexit,isthe
stuf of nightmares.
It’s unusual stories such as this
onethatkeepsmeinterestedinyour
