circles. Sew from B, around the legs
and base of the body and back up to
A, leaving the bottom edge of the feet
open. Open out the fabric to check
that the foot fabric is not visible
through the seam at the top corner
of the back leg. If it is, resew that part
of the seam slightly higher up. Repeat
to sew the other side of the body
gusset to the other body shape.

Repeat Steps 13-32 to
complete the sitting alpaca.

FABRIC TIPS
Experiment with dif erent fabric
textures for your alpacas. For mine,
I used thin towelling fabric, as I like
the texture it gave the softies. You
could also try fine-textured chenille,
polar fleece or quilting cottons.
